The U.S. toll-free prefixes are 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844 and 833. They identify different numbers: do not replace one prefix with another. A toll-free designation does not promise access or zero charges from every foreign network.

If the U.S. number does not connect
A routing failure does not prove the business is closed. Check the full number and the company's product-specific contact page before paying for repeated attempts.

For example, 20 minutes in Hold for me plus 10 minutes speaking costs $5.70. A U.S. toll-free destination is not a free PayCall call.
