You call PayCall when something important is at stake: a blocked card, a tax question, an insurance claim. So here is plainly what happens to your call and your data. PayCall doesn't record or transcribe calls, uses no AI on the line, never sees your card number and never asks for passwords, PINs or one-time codes.

What we never do
- Record your calls. There is no audio recording, of you or of the company you call.
- Transcribe your calls or send them to an AI. Nothing listens to the line.
- Store the keys you press in phone menus, such as account numbers or PINs.
- Ask for your passwords, PINs or one-time codes, by phone, email or chat. If someone claiming to be PayCall does, it isn't us.
- Sell your personal data.
Waiting and speaking
A call starts in waiting mode: your microphone is muted and you pay the waiting rate. When you want to talk, you switch to speaking mode yourself and your microphone turns on. Nobody, and no AI, listens to the line to decide this for you.
We store only when you switched modes, so the bill matches what you chose.
The connection
Between your browser and our telephony provider, the audio is encrypted, as on every WebRTC call. From there the call enters the U.S. phone network like any other phone call, which isn't end-to-end encrypted. That's the same as calling the hotline from your own phone.
Payments
You pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. PayCall never sees or stores your card number. Stripe screens every payment for fraud and asks your bank for 3-D Secure verification when it's needed. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
Credits are prepaid, with no subscription. Unanswered calls are never charged.
What we store, and how to delete it
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address and name | Sign-in, receipts and support |
| Calls: number dialed, time, duration, cost, sound quality | Billing, refunds and fixing connection problems |
| When you switched between waiting and speaking | Billing at the right rate |
| Payments: amount and Stripe reference (no card number) | Receipts, refunds and tax records |
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself on your account page at any time. Your email address, name and everything tied to you personally are removed. Call and payment records stay without your name, because tax law requires us to keep them.
