Can I call a U.S. 1-800 number from abroad?

How much does a hotline call cost?
A typical hotline call, 20 minutes on hold and 10 minutes talking, costs about $5.70, billed per second. Calling apps can be cheaper per minute for long personal calls. PayCall is built for hotlines: waiting is cheap, and a call that didn't help can be refunded (up to $3 per call), not just unused credit.
What if a call didn't help?
Call didn't help, whatever the reason? Refund up to 2 calls yourself within 24 hours of each call; for a 3rd, send us a request and we review it. Up to $3 per call and $9 total per account, returned as PayCall Credits, not cash. Unanswered calls are free.
Do I need an app or a SIM?
No app or local phone SIM is required. Use a supported browser, microphone and WiFi or mobile data. The person you call answers on their normal phone. Your internet provider may charge for data.
Can I add credits during a call?
Yes. Tap “Add credits without hanging up” on the call screen and pay with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay right there. The call keeps running, and the new balance extends it. Useful when a hotline keeps you on hold longer than expected.
