How a bank call works with PayCall
- 1
Enter the bank's number
Paste it from your card or the bank's app. You see the rate before you dial.
- 2
Wait on hold for $0.09/min
Calls start in Hold for me: you listen with your microphone off while the queue plays.
- 3
Talk for $0.39/min
When you hear an agent, turn your microphone on and talk in the same call. Billed per second.
PayCall vs. other ways to call
Bank queues are long – what you pay while waiting matters as much as the rate.

PayCall never asks for your banking details
We're an independent calling service, not your bank. Don't enter bank logins here, and only call numbers you found yourself – not one an unexpected caller gave you.
Questions before you call
Do I need a U.S. SIM to call my bank?
Not for a PayCall browser call. You need an internet connection, microphone and prepaid balance. Your bank may still require separate identity verification or access to a registered phone.
Is a collect number free through PayCall?
No. Dialing a number through PayCall is an ordinary paid browser call. Collect calls require an operator and acceptance of charges by the receiving company.
Can I call a non-U.S. bank with PayCall?
Only if the bank has a U.S. or Canadian (+1) number. PayCall currently calls U.S. and Canadian numbers, including 1-800 toll-free lines. For banks in other countries, use the bank's app or your phone plan.
How much does a call to my bank cost?
Calls start in Hold for me at $0.09/min with your microphone off; with your microphone on it's $0.39/min, billed per second. 30 minutes on hold plus 10 minutes talking costs $6.60. No subscription.
How are the bank numbers checked?
Each number links to the bank's official source. Only a number with a dated test badge has a documented PayCall connection test – that doesn't guarantee future routing, opening hours or the outcome of the call.
What if the call to my bank didn't help?
Whatever the reason, you can refund up to 2 calls yourself within 24 hours of each call – up to $3 per call and $9 per account, returned as PayCall Credits, not cash. Unanswered calls are free.
