Before you call
To report a claim, ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) lists 604-520-8222 in Vancouver and 1-800-910-4222 toll-free. If you're in the U.S. or abroad and your phone can't reach the toll-free line, the Vancouver number is an ordinary Canadian number, and PayCall can call either one from your browser.

Which ICBC number to use
Both numbers are listed by ICBC for reporting a claim. From outside Canada, the Vancouver number 604-520-8222 is the safer choice on a foreign phone because it's not toll-free; with PayCall you can use either.
For driver licensing and Autoplan insurance questions, ICBC points to its driver licensing offices and Autoplan brokers. Check the official contact page for the right team before you call.

Before you call
Have your policy or claim number, the date and place of the incident and the other driver's details ready. ICBC asks people to contact it by phone or mail for personal questions about a licence or claim, not by email.
B.C. is on Pacific Time. If you're calling from Europe or Asia, plan for the time difference and expect to wait in a queue.

What the call costs
Calls start in Hold for me at $0.09 USD/min with your microphone off, keypad menus included. With your microphone on, the call costs $0.39 USD/min. Billed per second, no subscription; unanswered calls are free. A toll-free number is still a paid call through PayCall.
If a call didn't help, whatever the reason, you can refund it in your account within 24 hours: up to $3 per call, the first 2 instantly and a 3rd on request, as PayCall Credits. PayCall does not place collect calls and is not the organization's official support line.
